The start of Christmas 2011

We started off our Christmas season with the Hurst tree lighting event.  The weather was a bit chilly, but the boys were excited.  They had a great snow hill that both Marco and Joaquin went down.  Unfortunately we only got a chance to do it once as the line was very long.  And double unfortunately it didn’t get any pictures because the they went so fast and when they got to the very bottom of the hill the worker guy stood up at just the WRONG  time  and got in the way.  So, here below is the only picture I captured of the snow hill.  The guy isn’t all that pretty, but at least you can see the snow hill in the background.
 
Camila was enjoying herself at first, but it didn’t really last long.  And yes, those are leg warmers on her arms.  I found them to be the perfect hand warmers.

They had a really great firework display.  It was almost like the 4th of July.  Marco sure enjoyed it.

And yes, that is a spiderman hat she has on.  She liked it, really she did. 

This picture tells it all.  About halfway through the fireworks Joaquin and Camila were DONE with them, but good ol Marco is still mesmerized.  We left shortly after this was taken.  We still had to walk back to the car, ya know.  ;)
