Scissors, and paper and tongues OH MY!

We decided we needed to make some of those Christmas countdown chain links so we could keep track of when the big, Jolly guy would be visiting us.  We didn’t have any green or red paper so the boys scribbled some color onto printer paper and got to work.  Marco has not become a master cutter, but Joaquin is still working to perfect this skill.  On a normal day, doing normal activities J’s tongue is in his mouth about half the time.  Put some scissors in his hand and the tongue is in about 5 % of the time.  This sure made for some funny pictures. IMG_6500 IMG_6501

Just getting started= very concentrated, but tongue stays in.

Quickly the tongue comes out and will remain that way for quite a whileIMG_6505

Low and behold, I find that it is a brotherly trait they share.  Although Marco must be growing out of it, because it is less frequent with him.

This one is a classic.  Both tongues out and I’m not sure what Joaquin is cutting, but does look a little dangerous to me.  Maybe that is why my pictures stop here.

  1. Love it! Julia does it too, but I haven't noticed it from Sean. Julia gets it from her Daddy.
