Road Trip!!!

 

The boys have been looking forward to going to Abilene for our first wedding (out of 4) this summer.  I think they were also excited to use the in car DVD system, as it is only used on long trips. 

Looks like the have all the essentials…. cowboy hat and roll of toilet paper!

They both looked so nice in their new suits.  I plan to get my money’s worth out of these.  I hope they make it to wedding # 4 at the end of the summer!

We decided it would be best if they changed their clothing for the reception.  This was a good idea as they decided to break dance on the floor!

The music was a bit too loud for Camila, but she had her friend the frog to keep her company.

A little more tummy time

Camila is finally starting to enjoy being on her tummy.  As long as someone is there to play with her, it is all good.

 

The boys and I just laughed and laughed at this picture.  I think Marco took it. 

And yes, I think we have the next Michael Jordan on our hands.  Everytime she sees the camera, her mouth hangs open and the tongue comes out.

I saw a theme with all these pictures.  Camila looks straight ahead with a slightly worried look while my dad never looks at the camera.

First rice cereal

At her 4 month check up we were given the go ahead to start rice cereal.  With the boys I waited until they were  almost 6 months old to start cereal.  Lately she has been staring at us when we eat so I figured that maybe she would like to try something a little more than just milk.  Here is our first attempt.  See how she is just eyeing the spoon.

And here is the after shot.  I only gave her about a tablespoon, but I think she wanted more.  We later learned to only feed her one time with the cereal and then no more until she has a big poop.  I think she had 3 serving of cereal before her massive explosion.  Not fun to clean at all!!

Pictures gone wrong

I have been very happy with Target pictures in the past, but this last go around was AWFUL!!  We had a new lady and she was just not good at all.  There were only a few good shots and unfortunately none of them were of all 3 kids together.  Here are the photos from that dreadful shoot.  The quality is not good because they were taken from the computer screen.  This is because I only purchased one photo of Camila by herself.  The rest were not even worth the $3.99/sheet coupon I had.  We will be going back again real soon and hopefully our regular lady will be there.   

I took the following pictures the next day at home.  Even though they are not really dressed nicely, I thought these were much better than the Target “studio”.  Well, at least Camila isn’t crying in all of them or had a red, angry face.

Bath time!

This was not her first bath time but unfortunately it was the first time we took pictures.  The last 2 are ones I found of Joaquin at just about the same age.  Do you see some resemblance?
