Dallas Cowboys fun

Joaquin yelling “Go Cowboys”

IMG_6339

This picture had all of us rolling with laughter in our seats.  Marco took the picture, an d the whole time I thought it would be a nice one of me and Joaquin.  Oh, its nice alright.  HA!  It still makes me laugh everytime I see it.

  IMG_6342

And of course, after laughing at the first pic the next objective seemed to be staged crazy self photos.  So the boys entertained themselves for all of the 2nd quarter with this.

Man, I’m never going to get a shot of everyone smiling, am I?

Halloween Fun 2001

 IMG_6270 IMG_6271

Our pumpkins.  Marco picked the bat design and Joaquin the screaming ghoul.  And guess who was the lucky one to do all the carving…. yup ME!  The best part was eating the seeds after a light toasting in the oven.  YUM!

IMG_6276

Joaquin at his Halloween parade at preschool. I didn’t even think to have him take the mask off while his class performed their song.  Oh well, I could tell he was singing under the mask because he was doing all the hand motions.

IMG_6289

Camila as Tigger.  This Halloween was a bit warm and all her other costume options were too hot.  Thankfully, all of them were hand me downs and can be used next year.

IMG_6292 IMG_6294 IMG_6303 IMG_6306 IMG_6307

And she’s done with all the picture business.  Apparently chomping on acorns is more entertaining.

Marco and his neighbor friend Audrey.  Not that anybody said this, but Marco states “She is NOT my girlfriend!”

IMG_6317 IMG_6320 IMG_6322

And this is only about 1/4 of the candy they got this year.  Thankfully they are still at the age where I can combine it all into one pile and they don’t fight over it.

IMG_6324

Too bad for her, she only got to “taste” it through the wrapper.

This year the boys would  mispronounce 3 major candy brands.

1) Reeses has become Reesas

2) Snickers is Sneakers

3)Whoopers is now whoop-ers (rhymes with Coopers)

Fire Station Tour

 IMG_6217 IMG_6219 IMG_6220

This was so funny because he could barely move and the helmet had to easily weigh 10 lbs.  The the pants all bunched around his ankles he looked like a little person in the suit.

IMG_6222 IMG_6224

*almost* looks like she is wearing the helmet, doesn’t it?

IMG_6225

that’s right, it says CHIEF.  I may need one of these for the house!

IMG_6232 IMG_6235

Camila, the amazing apple eating baby!  No, she didn’t actually eat the whole thing. But if I had about 5 hours to kill, I could have held it there and she might have.

Pumpkin Patch 2011

 IMG_6151 IMG_6155

Looks like Camila is giving Marco a workout.

IMG_6156

Now it looks like that pumpkin is giving Joaquin some trouble.  Can we all not just get a good hold on our prospective assignments at the same time??   :)

IMG_6159 IMG_6166 IMG_6168 IMG_6171

HI back at ya babycakes.  This is attempt at waving.  It is more like telling everyone to stop, but it is fun to see her do it randomly on her own.

IMG_6177 IMG_6178

OK, so maybe she gets her waving technique from her brother.  Who knew??  I sure didn’t before snapping these photos.

IMG_6179 IMG_6183

Joaquin, quit practicing your wrestling moves on your sister!

IMG_6187 IMG_6189

This is one of my favorites!  Love how they think everything she does is funny.  Hope this lasts throughout the years… but I’m not betting on it.

IMG_6193

Later that evening we went to a campfire story time and roasted marshmellows.  I’m sad that we did not get any pics of them eating the GIANT smores.  But we have lots of baseball-size marshmellows left over that I am sure we will do it again.

Frogs,. Swings, and Rangers

Yes, it is getting close to Halloween and we have pulled out the costumes.  This frog one is an 18-24 month and I thought we would be using it NEXT year, but it is getting some good use this year too.  Since we walk to school in the morning and it has been quite chilly, I needed something to keep Camila warm.  This was the best option because it even has little froggy hand covers.
