Camila 6 months

Camila is now 6 months old and can sit up by herself like a PRO!  Interested in crawling…. not so much.  She does like the exersaucer, outside swing, and walker.  Her daily activities include watching her brothers run around her and shaking toys in her face, riding around in the car, eating a bit of baby food, and hopefully taking a nap longer than an hour at a time.  Normal bedtime is 8pm and will wake up once around 5 0r 6 and then not wake up again until 9 or 9:30.  I’m loving the sleeping in I am getting to do as well, but I know that will all change once school  starts.  Is seems as though she has figured out how to keep her tongue in her mouth when taking pictures, now we just have to work on closing the mouth.  :)   I think she may be thinking about eating the camera as she does like to put anything and everything in her mouth.  These are pictures of the new bow I bought her.  (yes, you heard that right I actually purchased a bow!)  This has been my favorite so far because the headband is made of stretchy tight-like material and seems very comfortable on her head and does not leave a mark.

IMG_5724 IMG_5728 IMG_5732 My favorite picture so far.  Too bad she is strapped in the car seat and not on her pretty blanket

IMG_5733 IMG_5734 IMG_5735 Notice the cupcake toes!

IMG_5737 Outside in the walker.  She really doesn’t move around in it yet, but she likes to spin the toys.  Her cheeks get really red when outside in the hot weather so we don’t stay out long.

Hot summer=DIY water slide

This is Camila’s “pool time”.  Unfortunately she got her mama’s red cheeks and her papi’s hot body.  So that is a bad combination in this 100+ heat we are having this summer.  But, I think she enjoys the calmer waters anyway.

Camila’s Baptism

Today Camila was baptized at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bedford.  Hector’s parents came into town for the occasion and we had a small party afterwards.  It took me looking at about 50 dresses before I found my favorite.  I kept asking the sales girl to give a  simple dress with not a lot of sequins.  (not something I thought I would have to say when looking for a baby dress but who knew??)

Not sure what he is so upset about this time, but thankfully his little “moments” are short-lived

She was perfect throughout the entire ceremony and only cried when she was held up to the congregation so everyone could welcome her by clapping. I think the loud noise scared her a bit.
